Local Restaurants & Places to Eat around Telford

Spiceland

16 Market St, Wellington, Telford TF1 1DT, UK – 01952 248417

Great Place. Fine food and great service. Liked it so much we went back the following day and it was just as good.

Every time we visit Sag and the team always make us feel part of the family when we order. The children are always welcome however busy they are and the food quality never drops. It is exactly as you'd expect each and every time. We don't order curries from anywhere else now.

The Old Orleton Inn

378 Holyhead Rd, Wellington, Telford TF1 2HA, UK – 01952 255011

It was very clean and well presented the staff was very kind helpful and really pleasant to talk to the food was amazing even if you only go to the restaurant it is well worth the visit and for location for me was perfect as it was only a 3 minute drive to the Wrekin and motorway more visits will be made by me and I will recommend it to friends and family

Great Hotel young and enthusiastic staff nice decor and good food always a pleasure.

Royal Balti

1 Charlton St, Wellington, Telford TF1 1ES, UK – 01952 415122

It’s the best Indian restaurant to go to in wellington. The food is delicious and the staff are friendly. It’s very clean and sufficient. But try and avoid having takeaway. It’s like a different place. Much prefer inside. Keep up the good work in the restaurant.

Ok so be all and end all this is the best place to eat traditional Asian cuisine in the Telford area. Having lived in Wolverhampton for a number of years and eaten in some of the best restaurants in Birmingham and Wolverhampton I can honestly say this food is better. Here’s my reasons... 1) the spice palet is much more refined than other Asian restaurants. Each meal has a different taste. Genuinely when you try you will taste the difference between where you have eaten before. 2) the food is not full ghee like many other Asian restaurants. Ghee does not agree with me and I usually find it makes me feel sick the next day. The food here is pure and without the floating grease you would usually find. 3) The portions of meat in the dishes are more than satisfying. If you are a big meat fan I recommend the chicken fried rice as an accompaniment to the main. Something which many other restaurants don’t even offer. The only downfall of this restaurant is that it should be so much bigger than it is. It would thrive even more so with more seating. I have tried these guys for delivery too and the standard is the same eating in house. You will not be disappointed !
